COST OpenMultiMed Serbia Meeting

Dates: Mon. 18th & Tue. 19th June, 2018

Venue: Hotel Palace, Toplicin Venac 23, 11000 Belgrade (located in center of the city near the pedestrian zone)

This is the same venue as the BelBI2018 Conference, taking place between Monday 18th and Friday 22nd June.

Travelling Options

Serbia is not EU/EEA member country and you will need passport for entering, but for all European countries citizens no visa is required. Please check on website of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.


To/from Belgrade airport “Nikola  Tesla” (located 18km from city center) operates Serbian national airline “Air Serbia” and other full service and low-cost airlines.

For transport from/to airport please contact the city service TAXI INFO desk, located in the baggage reclaim area or take Mini bus A1, Bus Line 72 . There are many “freelance” drivers at the airport, offering their services, but they are usually much more expensive. The price of a taxi ride varies according to the covered distance, and should not exceed 20 EUR (2400 RSD) to the city centre.

Please note that Serbia is not a part of “roam like at home” EU policy, so roaming service will be extra charged.

Serbian currency is dinar (RSD): 1 EUR ~ 120 RSD

Belgrade is located in the Central European Time (CET) zone region.

Average temperature in Belgrade in June is around 27.3°C.

Electricity voltage in Belgrade is 220V. Electrical outlets are standard European.

Tap water in Belgrade is safe to drink. We drive on the right side.

Official language is Serbian with Cyrillic alphabet on official street signs, but Latin alphabet is equally used.
